Wednesday, July 16th, 2014 at 6pm - 8pm

Location: Front Range Community College, Classroom Building, Community Room, Longmont

This event is in the past.

In 2012, Longmont voters were the first city to ban fracking within city limits. Since then, fracking has only grown in intensity with legal manueverings, health questions, and a huge quantity of wells going in around Colorado. Fracking researchers Kaye Fissinger and Phillip Doe will update us on recent developments. Hear about the legal, health and environmental aspects of the phenomenon of hydraulic fracturing that is changing the face of our city, county, state and country.

This free public meeting will be held in the Community Room of the Classroom Building (2121 Miller, Longmont), Front Range Community College. Donations accepted to cover room rental expenses.
